A place to submit your stories of failure in Africa. Rule: you must provide at least ONE alternative idea, or suggestion, on how this could have been a success.

Why AfriFAIL is needed

Too often we sit by and say nothing as failed programs, projects and ideas are launched into and inside Africa. Here’s a chance for you to air your gripes and show us all just how cynically intelligent you are. To anonymously state why you think “project x” is a complete waste of resources, time or is a danger to society.

In most cases, there reasons why groups are doing something is for a good purpose, they are just tragically mislead, ignorant or both. Which is why we apply the “ONE RULE” at AfriFAIL, and that is that you must give one suggestion of how this failure might not have been. A way it could have been a success.

You’re also free to post your funny African fail pictures:

Got one on your mind already? Good, head right over to the submission form and write your post.

Oh this blog is a brilliant idea. I also think there needs to USAID Fail blog for derelict and dodgy USAID projects. Unfortunately, given that I hope my NGO can get cash from good old Uncle Same one day, I dare not start it myself.
